(1) Opinion pieces by the same author will not be run consecutively.
Responses to previously published opinion pieces will not be published.
Must include publishable contact information, e.g., email address or phone number.
(2) Letters to the editor must include a full street address or PO Box and phone number.
Only the author's name and hometown will be published.
Opinion pieces and letters to the editor must pertain to and mention the Applegate Watershed.
We encourage authors to include verifiable facts to support their arguments.
We will not publish:
• Personal attacks
• Anonymous letters and opinion pieces
• Reprinted articles
• Press releases
• Political campaigns articles
All submissions will be edited for grammar and length and will be published at the newsmagazine's discretion.
Submissions received after the deadline will not be accepted.
Images
• To be printable, all images submitted must be high resolution (300 dpi)
or "large format" (e.g., 30″ x 40″).
• Email all images in "actual size."

not .pdfs.
Applegater Promotional Articles Policy
The Applegater welcomes informational articles submitted by businesses and professionals operating in the Applegate
with the intent to serve the readers' interests, not those of the business or professional.
Submissions should have informational or news value, such as opening of a new business,
a change in ownership or location, offering of free public events such as an open house or workshop,
or a change in products or services readers may find of interest or value.
Articles primarily of promotional intent may either be returned with a request for changes or edited to remove promotional content.
For full control over the content of their message, businesses and professionals may purchase advertising.
